Journal of Adivasi and Indigenous Studies (JAIS)


Journal of Adivasi and Indigenous Studies is a bi-annual (February and August), peer-reviewed online journal that seeks to publish inter-disciplinary studies on the adivasi communities in India. Scholars are invited to submit original and unpublished articles, review articles and book reviews to editor@joais.in. Scholars can upload their articles via Contact Us page . Articles should be between 4000 and 8000 words, containing the author’s name, institutional affiliation, if any, and email address. Manuscripts should be typed on double-spaced pages (font size: 12) in MS Word format. Contributors will be required to revise their submissions in the light of reviewers’ comments. Subsequently, proofs will be sent to the author for cross-checking and must be returned to the editor/associate editor promptly.

The Journal is edited by Asoka Kumar Sen, an independent Researcher, based at Chaibasa, Jharkhand. The Journal accepts article submissions by Email.
